We started off the summer with a family trip to the State Track Meet. It was my last track meet to coach so Erin and Lukas decided to come along for the trip. It worked out perfectly because we were able to watch Erin's cousins, Derek and Alli, throw javelin. Lukas headed back with Grandma Karlynn and GG Strube to Claflin to hang out and play with his cousins, while Erin and I stayed for Saturday's events at the meet. I know Lukas enjoyed the bonding time with Grandpa and Grandma Beck :)
Sunday we took a quick family trip to Salina to check out the Rolling Hills Wild Life Adventure. I have seen the sign many times on interstate and wanted to check it out. There were lots of animals to see and Lukas was very interested the whole time.
