This picture turned out to be extra special to me.  It is at my cousin's wedding, but it ended up being the last time I was with my Grandma Schartz.  She passed away about a month after this.  I will never forget watching my grandpa and her dance that night like they did at so many other weddings.  She was a special woman and will be greatly missed.  We love you Grandma!

Beck Christmas

The Beck Christmas was a great one this year as well.  We love getting to spend so much time with all those we love.  We do a lot of just hanging out and relaxing, well as relaxing as it gets with little ones.  We started out Christmas Eve at GG's house with the Strube's.  The kids love running around with all of the cousins and dogs.  Santa made his appearance as well.  I would like to say 3rd times a charm for Laney, but it wasn't.  She didn't cry though so maybe we can call that progress.

We continued our Christmas back at Grandpa and Grandma's house.  We were missing the Georgia Beck crew this year, but did get to call and see how their holiday went.  We enjoyed eating a lot of food, playing cards, and just hanging out.

This girl loved Christmas.  She caught on quickly to presents and got so excited for each one.

Vi has really started to show Laney her affection through hugs/headlocks.

We also got to celebrate this little lady's 1st Birthday over the weekend.  Happy Birthday Vivian!!

She loved her cake
It was a wonderful Christmas with family and a reminder of all the blessings in our life!

Keeley Christmas

Another Christmas in the books and it was another great one.  I have always loved this time of year and watching it unfold through my children's eyes makes it even better.

Luke and Cade checking out the presents.

The weather was pretty nice so we got to check out the new playground they have put in.  We were all quite impressed and the kids had a great time running around.

Uncle Todd had a afternoon of fun out at the farm for the kids.  He let the kids come out and hunt "dinosaur bones" which our boys are still talking about.  He also had a couple animals to show them.  They thought it was great :)

Then the chaos of presents started.  It gets a little crazier every year as the kids get a little older and we add more grandkids.
We put some reindeer food on the yard for when Santa comes.

Christmas jammies

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a visit to grandpa and grandma's.  He brought the kids exactly what they had asked for!  Their faces were awesome to watch.  (Laney still did not care for him.)

We did some gingerbread house decorating.

Aunt Beth and Keith gave everyone bouncing toys.  We of course had to have races in the basement.  (Luke won)

We finished the Keeley side off by heading to Christmas Eve mass.  Everyone all dressed up in their Christmas clothes and ready to go.
