Football Season

Panther football season has come to an end.  It was a year of ups and downs, but many exciting moments along the way.  The Panthers ended the season 5-4 with a few heartbreaking games.  Once again I sit here thinking back on the past few months and all that has happened.  The fall season goes so quickly, but is my favorite.  I have loved getting to watch Erin coach another season.  I am always amazed at the time and work the coaches and athletes put in.  Just listening to one of their conversations can wear me out :)  Sports can be such an influential part of a kid's life, but it can impact them in so much more than just a game.  I hope his athletes walk away from each season learning more than just the x's and o's of the game of football and knowing how much he cares about them.    He constantly works to be a better coach in any way he can.  I could not be more proud of him and the whole Panther Team.  We love our Friday Night Lights!

Lawson's Birthday Celebrations

When we celebrate, we do it all week long :)  Lawson started with a friends party at Gambino's.  It worked perfect to have pizza (his favorite) get to play and then ninja turtle cookies to top it off.  Lawson had a lot of friends that were able to come and celebrate with him for the afternoon.

On his birthday he got to go to lunch with Dad.  One on one time doesn't happen a lot so this was extra special.  We had grandpas and grandmas over for some ice cream that evening.

Then to finish it off we had to go out for dinner and dessert!

We loved celebrating this little man!  Happy Birthday Lawson!!

Lawson is FIVE

Lawson is five years old today!

Our little boy has grown so much in the past year.  He continues to amaze us in his caring personality and selflessness.  He is the first one to give to his siblings or help others out.  It makes my momma heart so happy to see him get so much joy from giving to others.

Lawson is in preschool again this year and is doing a great job.  He is our more reserved son but has been working so hard to learn everyone's names in his class and making new friends.  He comes home from school with such neat stories and experiences from his day.  The thing I have loved most though is the stories and questions he has about God.

Lawson is a very literal thinker.  We have to be careful sometimes with what we say and what he walks away thinking.

Lawson does a great job of playing with others but has also started getting more into his own thoughts and games.  He will sit in a room for hours playing ninja turtles or super heroes.  He has a great imagination that is so much fun to watch and listen to.

He has become an adventurous little guy.  He loves to try new things even when he is a little unsure.  With just a bit of a confidence boost he is all in.  He is rough and tough and up for the challenge.

Happy Birthday Buddy!  We love you very much!!!!
