4th of July

The 4th of July is always a day full of activities.  The boys love to shoot off fireworks, makes me a nervous wreck.  Laney was not too sure of the loud noises but got better as the day went on.  Lexi didn't seem fazed by any of it.  We had a great day with family and enjoyed all the festivities.

Beaver Lake Vacation

We were lucky enough to be invited for a little get away to Beaver Lake this summer.  We got to spend some time with great friends just hanging out and enjoying the water.    We shared many laughs and made great memories.

We started out the trip with doing a little camp out.  Although I was very nervous about this, the weather forecast was questionable and sleeping in a tent, it went great.

We then headed on to the lake for a couple days.  The kids loved getting to swim and go out on the boat, even all smiles on the tube.

The end of the trip was a little bitter sweet for us though.  Although we were all sad to have to leave the lake life, we were excited to get back to this sweet face.  We all missed her a lot, but know she enjoyed the attention she got from Grandpa and Grandma Beck :)

Beth & Keith's Wedding

My little sister got married this summer!  Weddings are always exciting times but even a little more so when it is family.  We loved all of the festivities and extra family time.  All the planning and preparing showed and payed off as the day went off perfectly.  Laney was one of the flower girls with Keeley and Lawson was a ring bearer.  Luke helped pass out bubbles with Cade and Reese.  They were all very excited to be a part of the wedding.  They did a great job of making it down the aisle smiling :)  We are so happy for Beth and Keith and wish them many blessed years ahead!

 The kiddos all loved dancing the night away!  They were quite entertaining.  Laney loved wearing her pretty dress, she still talks about going to Beth's wedding.  Not sure she realizes it is over.
