After trips to 2 hospitals, 3 doctors, 3 Diego episodes, waiting for 2 hours in a room just so that he could be sedated 6 hours after eating, Lawson was in surgery to reattach the tip of his finger. Going through my own personal pain is nothing compared to watching your child go through pain that you can't do anything about. After a long night, or early morning, we got everyone back home at about 3:30 a.m. I am glad that Lawson seems to be in little pain for the most part and still smiling. He likes to take advantage of the club on his hand by knocking everything down in sight with it. He is one tough little boy. Luckily we just got a call and have a snow day tomorrow so we can all get some extra snuggles in for at least one more day!

Our First E.R. Visit
Well last night the boys decided to add a little excitement to our evening, considering the football game was not going to do so. Lawson got his finger smashed in the door hinge and it was pretty bad. At the moment we really didn't know how bad, but it was bleeding... a lot. Erin and I went into freak out mode trying to get everyone dressed with shoes and coats and loaded to head to the hospital.
