I want to wish a Happy 28th Birthday to this special man in my life! I don't know what I would do without him. It is the 10th birthday we have celebrated together and I look forward to the many more ahead. I Love you Erin :)

Mr. Lukas
Lukas is 2 1/2 today so I thought I would do an update on what is going on with him. He is an amazing little boy that made us parents for the first time. We have loved him so much since the moment we found out about him and he continues to bless us everyday.
- He is a very active little boy who loves to play all day inside and out
- I am not sure on his exact height and weight. He is around 32 lbs. on our scale.
- Lukas wears 2T and 3T clothes just depending on what it is. His shoe size is 7 or 8.
- He always has to find the moon if we are outside, day or night he looks for it and usually spots it first.
- He doesn't like to wear socks or pants if he is just playing at our house.
- He is still an amazing sleeper both at night and nap time. He loves his big boy bed and usually doesn't fight it much when we say its bed time, as long as he can have his blanket to sleep with and his fingers to suck on :)
- Eats about anything and everything. He eats most of the same meals Erin and I do and likes to try anything.
- He was introduced to Chocolate Milk at our new daycare and thinks its the greatest thing, it doesn't take much of the chocolate syrup to satisfy him.
- Lukas is very good at playing and loves to pretend. He reenacts "The Lion King" with his animals and it is so funny to watch. He is especially fond of his trains and pirate ship right now. He likes to play in his closet with all of his stuffed animals. It is his own little fort that he goes into.
- Counts from 1-14, sometimes he misses 10 or will jump from 7 to 11 though
- Knows his letters, shapes (better than some of my students), colors and animal sounds.
- If you fall asleep around him he likes to roar like a lion to wake people up
- He is a GREAT big brother and does a good job of helping out.
- He enjoys talking to people on Facetime and play games on the ipad. It is actually scary how well he can work that thing.
- Potty training is getting better. He wears big boy underwear most days but still has accidents every now and then. I get a little nervous if we are going somewhere so we still use pull ups sometimes and at night.
- Lukas loves to read books. We have probably 5 that are read a lot, but can squeeze a different one in every now and then.
- Lukas would go to the park and zoo everyday if he could.
- He likes to play with his friends and talks about all of the toys they have. He knows all of their names but gets them a little mixed up sometimes, especially all the baby girls he knows.
- I am amazed at the memory that Lukas has. He is a hard one to trick or distract. He doesn't forget if you say we will do something later. He also repeats things he has heard or seen. I just laugh at the words and things he will say and usually uses words in the right context.
- Lukas will move kitchen chairs or his step stool around to get whatever he needs. He likes to just climb up on the counter and get into the cabinets on his own. Nothing is safe anymore!
- He is ornery as ever and just laughs along with us when he does something funny. Hearing him giggle always puts a smile on our faces.
- The best thing I think we ever hear Lukas say though is when he tells us "I love you Mommy" or "I love you Daddy"

3 Months Old
Lawson is another month old today! It has been a big month for us since he is spending his days at daycare now that I am back at work :( He is doing good though and big brother is keeping an eye on him for us. He is just growing and changing more and more.

Monthly Pics:
- He is such a happy baby and loves to smile
- Looks around alot and just takes in his surroundings
- Still a little shaky with holding his head up
- He has been going through his first sickness with a fever, but I think we are getting over it now
- Weighs in at 11 lbs. 4 oz. (He is just under 50% in both height and weight)
- Eats every 3-4 hours and has 5 oz. when bottle fed
- Lawson has been trying to figure out those hands and get them to his mouth quite often, sometimes 2 fingers, sometimes the whole fist
- Sleeps pretty good normally, gets up 1 time at night usually, but will sleep all night every now and then
- Likes his warm bathes, but hates it when its time to get out
- He is still wearing 0-3 clothing. They are fitting better, but too long for him
- I love to hear his giggles and coos.
- He is very active with his arms and legs
- Lawson is a great baby who we are enjoying more and more every day!

Beck Family Christmas
The Beck Christmas did not disappoint. We got to spend a couple of days with all of Erin's family to celebrate the holiday! We started off on Christmas Eve at Grandma Strube's with all of the Strube side. It was a full house with kids everywhere, but we even got a visit from Santa Claus himself. The young kiddos were not quite as excited to see the man in the red suit. It made for some funny pictures though.
Since we had already celebrated with my side, we were able to just stay in Claflin and enjoy all of the family. Evin and Kayla were back from Mississippi with Maddox, Elsa, and Emmy. This was the first time we got to officially meet the girls! They are adorable as ever and were so much fun to play with. We had a wonderful family Christmas! Lukas loved all of the presents and getting to unwrap them this year. Christmas with your own kids is just too much fun :) It was nice to just hang out with family and stay indoors for a couple of days. We stayed up late playing cards (Kayla and I beating Evin and Erin again this year) and catching up on everything going on. It was a fun filled holiday and so many wonderful memories!
