Grandparent Day

Luke's school has a Grandparent Mass and then a small reception after to celebrate all the wonderful grandparents.  There was a record crowd this year.  We are so blessed to have such amazing grandparents for our kiddos.  He loved getting to have Grandpa and Grandma Beck and Grandma Keeley come enjoy the morning with him.

Butterfly Catching

We got to participate in the Butterfly Festival that the Wetlands put on.  I went into it a little skeptical, but it turned out to be a great morning.  The kids all caught butterflies and loved every minute of it.  They got better and better the farther along the trail we got.  The Wetlands put on a great event with a huge crowd.

Cousins Come to Visit

We got to have the Keeley and Max come visit for a few days!  They were staying with Grandpa and Grandma, but we got to have some time playing with them as well.  The kiddos always love to have visitors and other kids to play with.  It was a great couple of days with all sorts of adventures :)

Lexi's 1st Birthday Party

We had a great time celebrating Little Miss Lexi for her 1st Birthday!  We had a cookies and milk bar to go with the "Sweet as Sugar" theme.

Lexi was all about her cake.  It took a second to figure out what it was, but then she dug in.  She is our only one who actually ate almost the whole thing.  It may have put her into a bit of a sugar shock after :)

Thank you to all the family and friends that joined us.  Lexi was not up for many pictures with her guests.  I think she got a little overwhelmed with all the excitement around her.  She has loved playing with all her new toys, whenever big sister lets her anyway :)
